Is Back on the Strip streaming on Max? (Where to watch)

The one in charge behind the scenes, Chris Spencer, is making his feature film debut directing the new comedy movie Back on the Strip! The production will be released Aug. 18, 2023. Is Back on the Strip streaming on Max?

Spencer also co-wrote the script with Eric Daniel. The project is produced by Wesley Snipes, Geno Taylor, Missy Valdez, and one of the cast members in the film – Tiffany Haddish. The actress takes on the role of Verna.

Also joining her onscreen are Spence Moore II as Merlin, Wesley Snipes as Luther “Mr. Big,” JB Smoove as Amos, Gary Owen as Xander, Bill Bellamy as Tyriq, Raigan Harris, Faizon Love as Desmond, Kevin Hart as Uptight Dad, Piper Curda as Gia, Emelina Adams as Bambi, Colleen Camp as Rita, and Caryn Ward as Eve.

So where and how can you watch the movie? Is it even available online? We’ve got the answer for you below!

Back on the Strip is not streaming on Max. That’s because upon its release on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, the film will only be available to watch in theaters. So if you want to check it out, then you’ll have to head to your local cinema to see it on the big screens.

Luminosity Entertainment is the production company behind the project. It’s not known yet when and if the movie is coming to streaming, as well as which platform it would be on. But most productions do come to streaming eventually. Or they’re at least available to rent or buy. We’ll have to wait and see which options become available for us in the next few months.

Back on the Strip is centered around Merlin who moves to Las Vegas to find a job as a magician per the synopsis. He decides to go to the entertainment capital of the world after he loses the “woman of his dreams.” But when he gets there, he winds up being hired as the front man in a revival of the black male stripper group, The Chocolate Chips. The “old, domesticated, out-of-shape” members put their former conflicts aside to save the hotel they used to perform in and help Merlin get his girl back.

Back on the Strip begins playing Friday, Aug. 18, 2023 only in theaters.
